Topics of Interest

We welcome theoretical and empirical papers on topics including, but not limited to:

  • The economic drivers of climate-induced migration and displacement
  • Impacts of climate migration on labor markets, wages, and inequality in both sending and receiving regions
  • The role of policy in managing climate migration
  • Methodological advances in modeling and measuring the climate-migration relation
  • The fiscal and social impacts of climate-related population movements
  • The financial implications of climate-induced migration and displacement

Join us in Santiago, Chile for two days of presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities.

Free Registration

There is no registration fee to attend the workshop. All accepted papers will be presented. We expect submitting authors to present at the conference.

Travel Support

Limited funding is available to support travel and accommodation expenses for some of the presenters - if requested in advance.
